Dorothy: Would you please let me know if you get any response to your inquiry about Sterling Cemetery? I'm also interested in who's buried there. I'm researching Robert CALVERT and his wife Mary (KEESEE) Calvert and, although their stones are the only ones remaining, I know there were other family members buried there. I'm also interested in contacting descendants of the CALVERT family and would appreciate hearing about it if you make contact with anyone. Posted on: Robertson County Texas Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Robertson/356 Surname: House ------------------------- I would like to contact some of H.P. House family to see if we can either make a connection or eliminate it. I am researching a George M. House who was born about 1850 in Mississippi. His daughter, Hattie House was supposed to have been living with grandparents until they died(but may have been someone else) before she married. This was supposed to have been in Falls County. I hope someone in H.P.'s family might know if this is my George's brother and if they know of any family history about Hattie. Thanks, so much!

I do not have a cemetery map, but I can tell you that it is a very nice one that has many markers. I have several relatives buried there, including by ggfather and ggmother. It is on the south end of town. Incidentally, there is another large cemetery at the split in the road where Owensville was located. The Owensville cemetery is about 4 miles north of Franklin. Within that cemetery is a smaller fenced in cemetery where my father's parents and a few other Grant's are buried. Not far from there is a spot along the road where the old homestead once stood that was called Grants Prairie (no signage, but folks know where it is). Allen Grant I don't know it until I know it. But when I know it I know it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Conway A. My oldest Robertson is a John who fought in the Civil War (I have no other dates) who had sons Malcolm, Jasper, and George Robert (my ancester) and a daughter named Docie. Somehow they connect with Eckebergers. Any way, any help is appreciated. Vicki R Alvin, Texas
