Has anyone gotten a death certificate in Red River County (or any other county in Texas recently)? I am wondering if this is a standard practice now. I knew there had been some changes but I didn't think anything that far back would be such a big deal. Cynthia Cynthia: I believe this is a Texas law. Several years ago I ordered a copy of my grandparents death certificates from Denton, TX. I live out-of-state and I was required to mail with my payment a copy of my driver's license and explain how I was related to them and state for what purpose I needed the death certificates. Dora K.
