    3. Cathy and others, I understand what you are saying about feeling a tie with RRC although you have never lived there. I had never been to RRC, birthplace of my grandparents as well as my mother, until about two years ago. They had left about 1920 and never returned however I remember my mother always talking about many of the places that now have become familiar to me from my three visits over the last two years. I feel that it is more my home than the town I was reared in, and have enjoyed visiting with several of those on this list. I am looking forward to another oppurtunity to meet others that have joined, or were unable to be at some of the other activities I have attended. I would probably be able to attend whenever the reunion is arranged with a couple of months notice. Just as a refresher I have ties to the Rains, Drake, Valentine Smith and Clint Bridges Families. I also am interested in the Hoover Family who ties in with the husband of one of my nieces and also my husband's brother's wife. I find it interesting that the same family has a tie with my family as well as my husband's family although neither family was reared in the same area in the last two or three generations, one in Jackson County Oklahoma and one in Lubbock County Texas. Enough for now, Pat Amarillo, Tx
