I don't remember just how we got into this but: I talked with Rick and his dad Jerry Jordan today. William Harris "Billy" Jordan is a brother of Jerry Jordan. Billy lives here in Paris. Jerry said Billy was married 3 times. 1. Gail McDonald, 2.Shirley Ladd, 3. Janie (sp) Dawson. Jerry mentioned one of Billy's wives dying, I think it was Janie that died. Ephriam is buried at Woodard Cemetery in Minter. William Morris " Bud" Jordan and Robert Elihe Bert Jordan are buried in Meadowbrook Cemetery on US. 271 on the southeast corner of Paris close to the airport. Ephriam married Betty Sheppard. Robert E.B. Jordan (gf of Jerry) married Eultra (sp) Norrell (sp). Rich said his great grandfather Ephriam came with his brothers from Jackson, Miss. We stayed over night in Jackson, Miss while traveling to D.C. Rick looked in the phone book and there was a Jordan with a first name similar to Elihue. Rick said John Carroll Jordan was ran the Colligate Shop on the square in Paris, then later went to Sulphur Springs and operated a similar type business. I don't remember who he said John Carroll was, but it may have been his gf's brother. Sarah, is this part of your family line. I took notes best I could but some of the above is from memory and I hope I got it right.
