Well, I will make it to Avery tomorrow. There will be BBQ meals sold at the tomato shed from 11:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. I will be there. It would be great to see some of you there. I will have on my U.S. Flag shirt. I also plan to be in front of the old Gathings Drug Store (where it was) at 2 p.m. This is the building that still has the word "DRUGS" in the tile in front of the front door. If any of you are there and we don't meet up sooner, be in front of the drugs store at 2 p.m. According to the paper, there will be events going on all day. I know many of your are far way and may not have a Avery connection anyway, but having lived there 8 years and all 3 of our children going to school there, I plan on have a good time seeing some good old friends, and hopefully some new ones.
