Just thought I would post my names researching there in RRCO.: Cornett, McGuire, Warren, Delaney, Fuller and Ward, Wiggins, Kays. My grandfather was Harvey Cornett. He was owner/operator of the Little Chicago Store for several years. He was married to Ada Lillian McGuire. My father, Leighton Cornett, married my mom, Ruth Maurine Moore. She was born and raised in Lott, Texas. Ruth Moore also taught school in Clarksville. I do not know if any of you were her student or not. I know that Martha Stroud lists here name as one of her favorite teachers in one of her books. Mary Hausler sent me a picture of the Little Chicago Store but it was like maybe in the late 60's early 70's. I would like a picture of it that is older...maybe a black and white. Can not wait till we have another reunion. If any of you remember Harry Igo, he was a friend of my fathers. He called the other night just to say hello and that he misses talking with his long time friend, Leighton Cornett. ___________________ * * * * * * * * *___________________ * * * * * * * * ___________________ * * * * * * * * *___________________ ______________________________ ______________________________ ______________________________
Tom Watson's grandparents of Clarksville were Cornett, but not Leighton.
