Can anyone tell me where South Lake is? Cathy

South Lake is about 5 miles south of Clarksville on FM 910. Don't confuse it with FM 909 which is the "old" Bogata Hwy. FM 910 goes south from the southeast corner of Clarksville and 910 runs south from the southwest corner of Clarksville. FM 910 leave Clarksville from where the old hospital was before the 1970s. Just before you get to the entry gate of South Lake the hwy will be taking a long curve to the left (east). As you are coming out of the curve the nice steel gate is on the right. The Gate reads "Red River County Club". The lake is about 200 yard straight down this oil top road. I still have not seen the new club house. I talked with Jimmy Hurt today at Avery, he said it looked small to him, but he had not been in it. I will check it our as soon as possible. I expect it will be fine. Jim Giddens Paris/Reno, Tx p.s.
