See http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/arc/local/index.html Texas State Libaray has: OFFICE OF THE TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR TAX ROLLS, 1838-1910 Reel 119401 1838-1881 (and more) Last time I email them and asked how much the roll of microfilm would cost and got a price about $18 a roll I think.
