I checked my book "Looking Back To See" by Jerry Bray. Apparently "Bill" Lowrance worked at Black Bros. Wholesale in Clarksville. The only mention is in a story about a farmer/rancher that fell on hard times and could not pay his bill. Mr. Black thought so highly of this gentleman that he not only did not demand payment, but also told Bill Lowrance (presumably an employee) to give the gentleman and additional $1000!
