Diane, It is a small world. Jim lived and worked in Mesquite area for about 18 years also. There are others on this site from that area also. You mentioned the Truss family (including Robina Watson Truss) coming from Alabama. My GGrandfather,Frank Wade Watson, and Jim's GGrandfather,Charlie Hurst Watson, were both born in Ala. then their family moved to Red River County. Jim, we may have another cousin!
