Hi Jim, Thought this might interest you. I was looking for churches at the court house the other day and ran across a deed made to Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 1/2 acre of land. The land was given by Rebecca Wilson on Aug 30, 1879. I think it was either to build a church or a parsonage. Can't recall for sure. I didn't copy the deed but you can find it in Book 2, page 100 of the deed records at the annex. Also ran across a deed to the Maple Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church in 1880. Land given by Willliam and Mary Humphreys. It's in Book 2, page 308. Does anybody know exactly where Maple Springs was? I'm thinking it was near the Blanton Creek area.??? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Giddens" <jimg@cox-internet.com> To: <TXREDRIV-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2003 1:07 PM Subject: [TXREDRIV] Shiloh graves//Smith My pictures show clearly 3 markers for children of Robert & Mary Smith Leonidas R.
