    2. Mr Giddins, Cody Holloway is not related to me that I know of, but his son Mack is married to my husbands cousin. Cody passed away a few weeks before Christmas. My husband remembers you from Avery, his name is David Campbell and he was raised in Mesquite,Tx and at that time he knew your daughters & he is related to the Hogland's from Avery. By chance do you remember any Davidson's from Avery? My grandparents were from Avery, Claude & Edna Davidson. By chance you will also remember a cousin of mine that was shot & killed behind Medford's store years ago. His name was Jimmy Davidson nickname was Red. Now see who's rambling. Haha. My Holloway's that were in Avery that you may know , actually lived in Garland community were Lee & Woodrow, which are my great-uncles. Thanks for the welcome, Darla Campbell Clarksville, Tx P.S. No relation to Dr Campbell

    3. Darla, I have been told I have a good memory but I know that it is slipping some. Actually, I just have too much too remember at my age of 61. I have so many great memories and then some that are not so great. I am sadden to hear about Cody. I would have went to his funeral but I don't remember hearing about it. My father died Oct 15 and I took some time off after that so I may have been out of town. The only Davidson's I can remember at this time is Red. I remember well the day he was shot and killed in the Medford parking lot. I was gone to the bank in Clarksville that afternoon of the shooting, so it must have been on a Wednesday. My wife Sue was at the pharmacy and ever one was buzzing when I got back to town. Seem now I am thinking Red had a sister or two. Were they Rexene Storey and Christine Watson. Rexene worked for us at the pharmacy. Her husband died of cancer while we were there. We rented their house in Avery when we first went to Avery, until they moved back to Avery. Christine Watson's husband, J.B., also died of cancer. My mother was a Watson so J.B. was about a 2nd cousin to my mother. Their fathers Elzie & Jesse Watson were double cousins. Maybe I will remember you husband David as time goes on. Was it Cheryl are Laura that he remembers, or both. Cheryl was had just finished Jr Hi in 1978 when we left Avery and Laura has just finished High School. Well I had better cut my rambling.
