    3. Betty, first let me say, belatedly, welcome to the list. I do not really know any of the Bean's that I mentioned well enough to even say anything. My brother-in law and sister-in-law are Bean's and their Grandparents were from Clarksville,Tx. The man's name was Hardy Bean and that is the extent of my knowledge. The brother-in-law has done some searching for relatives and my sister did lots of the research, but I am not really involved in their searching. My sister passed away in 2001,so I really don't know anything more. The name just caught my eye,but I hope you find much info. These folks on this Red River list will help a lot. They are great folks! Luck to you. 2. Betty Beene
    3. Bonnie S. and Mary G. and Jim G., Thanks for the Bean names and the Poteet obit from Lamar Co. (probably my Poteet line). I have been researching for the last week, as yet I have found no connection but there might be a connection, I just don't have enough information yet. I did find another Bean birth and marriage information. Ova Bean married Jessie Earl Greer and had a child Ellie Fay Greer born in RR co. in 1935. Does anyone know this family? Betty B.
