Hello Jim & others I just wanted to put my input on what I saw in Clarksville yesterday, as I was driving down main street I saw big yellow bows and ribbons tied on doors, tree's, etc. Also lining Main Street was United States Flags,on each side of the road. I live here so I dont notice those Golden Arch's (unless kids are begging ) but it was with pride that I noticed the yellow ribbons & flags. My personal opinion, I hope they remain where they are untill this war is over. As a reminder of the men & women who are fighting for our country. I hope you dont take me wrong, as Im not complaining at all about what you said, I just wanted to say what I noticed & I belive alot of times, when one lives somewhere, it gets to where you dont notice things because it's a everyday occurance, but put something new up & I notice. Have a great day Darla Campbell Clarksville, Texas Also I wanted to point out to anyone in RR Co that may know what to do about this, there are countless streets inside the city limits that have no stop signs, I have thought about doing a project myself & getting a map to pin point each place that there are crossroads & no stop signs on either side. But as with the creeks not having names, I figured that there was no money for signs. Just a concern of mine, especially for drivers that are not aware of this problem, (the ones whom like me when I moved here last summer), that may drive, see no stop sign in front of them & drive on. And at same time another driver thinking the same thing, it's a accident waiting to happen all over town. Again just my opinion.
