Hi Nina, I got the information out of Red River Recollections. It is a book put together by the Red River County Historical Society. It was put together in 1986 and reprinted in 1997. There are "articles" put together by family members on their family and also some short histories on communities and certain events/locations. The information on the grocery store was from a write up on the Shadid family. The other information was from different family write ups and one was from a lodge history. I can send you the articles if you would like. It just might take me a few days to get them together. Thanks, Drew Slate Fort Worth, Tx ----- Original Message ----- From: <NFLTARVER@aol.com> To: <TXREDRIV-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 16, 2003 10:16 AM Subject: Re: [TXREDRIV] RE: LYONS in Red River Co., TX > Hi Drew, > Thank you for the info.
