    3. Nina, Yes,I sure do remember Ivy Ewing. He was, in my opinion, the best caretaker "The Lake" ever had.He kept everything mowed ,clean, and policed the area to make sure all the rules were kept. Crystal Lake was a great place to hang out and he made it even better. I told a storey to the list about an accident I had as a child at the lake a couple of years ago and your GMother's sister played a big part in it. I was playing behind the dam,by the water fall, slipped, fell on an old fender, someone had discarded there and cut my rear end. My grandmother took me to the "Lake Keeper's House" for first aid. Well, your Great Aunt had this ole bashful country boy drop his pants "and drawers" and lie across her lap "on the front porch/gallery" while she poured that "miracle medicament" coal oil on my ailing posterior......It wasn't even sore the next day! and I didn't have to go and have Dr. Payne give me a tetanus shot. Yes, Nina I do remember your Grandmother's sister. She saved my life :) Have a great day, Tom Heath, TX Watson,Cornett,Becknell,Rogers,Sturch,Fuller >From: NFLTARVER@aol.com >Reply-To: TXREDRIV-L@rootsweb.com >To: TXREDRIV-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [TXREDRIV] Sam & Tom ? plus rambling >Date: Sun, 16 Mar 2003 11:34:31 EST > >Tom do you remember a man that was a caretaker at Crystal Lake by the name >of >Ivy Ewing?
