    1. Re: [TXREDRIV] thanks Annette Cherry//Census rambling.
    2. Thanks Jim for the kind letter on the 1900 Red River Census. I felt there was so much useful information in it that would help fellow researchers as it had me. I had meant to have it finished by now but had a few diversions along the way. My mother was very ill and lived with us and last year she died and next thing I knew I had breast cancer. I am doing very well now and will someday finish the census. I am so glad that you have found your family. It does give you a feel for them and to also be able to look at who lived near them. You also get to solve some of the questions you had about them. I also have a great husband who is a Mauldin, McDowell and Cherry descendant who kept encouraging me to do it. Lots of quarters at the library for microfilm copies and a membership to Ancestry.com came from Donald. So far it takes up two huge notebooks of photocopies and not through yet. Betsy Lemaster from CA also sent a CD and that was very helpful. Hopefully we will make the Mauldin reunion this year and maybe we'll get to meet you. The Red River group is the best on the Web if you ask me. Annette Cherry Baytown, TX. http://www.rootsweb.com/~txredriv/
