In 1875, William H. Addison a native of KY, and his second wife, Abigail Vickery Addison moved from Carroll County, MO to Red River county, TX. It appears that his oldest son, James A. Addison was already living in the County. Researching descendants of the following: James A. Addison, son of William H. and his first wife, Malinda (deceased) , married Matilda Blackwell in Lamar County in 1880. Josephine Addison, known to be a sister of above James, married J. C. Miller in 1877 in Lamar County. I have death certificate for her dated 1927. Marcella Addison, known to be sister of above, married C.H. Davis in Lamar County in 1878. Nancy A. Addison, also known to be a sister of above, married William Corn in Lamar County in 1876. Other Addison's are listed as marrying in Lamar County ca. 1880-1886, indicating possible relatives. William H., his wife and only child, Robert P., moved back to MO in about 1885. Although most marriages occurred in Lamar County, some of these were known to live in Red River County. Any information on desendants would be appreciated. Verl W. Addison
