Yes, it's very cold and slippery! I haven't left the house in two days! Well, except to feed the animals. The thing is, the boys have been out of school since Monday. Seems Fannindel Elementary had a gas leak! Right, that's what they told the radio station, but I know it was a skunk! Well, 6 skunks to be exact! I guess you could call it skunk gas! I've smelled the odor a couple of times when I dropped the boys off at school. But last week, they carried all the kids to the high school on Wednesday, then closed the school on Thursday. Grades 3 through 6 went on a field trip all day Friday, and they carried the little guys to the high school again. The boys came home with a note that there was no school on Monday, due to "construction", and classes would commence at 10:00 am Tuesday. Yea, I guess they had to reconstruct the underpinning where they tore it out to get rid of the skunk family! Big surprise! Now with the weather, the boys are going plum crazy with cabin fever. I let them out a couple of times yesterday to play, but only for about 15 to 20 minutes, and no argument from them when I called them in to hot chocolate. But today it's just solid ice, and it's hard and sharp, so boys are confined.
