I talked and visited with David Buzbee many times at Regency Nursing. He was always keeping me informed of how he thought my dad was doing. I ate with the two of them many times. I visited him twice since my Dad died. Mr Buzbee died recently and I only a few minutes ago realized his name is on my Clarksville High School diploma dated May 29, 1959 as Secretary. It is sad what we ( I ) don't know about our senior citizen's life history. At my age of 61, I guess that make me one also. I wish I had recalled this about Mr Buzbee when I knew him at Regency. The point is not that you forgot he signed your diploma, but that you visited him later in his life. I am sure he liked that about you. In his way he reached out to you early in life, and you gave back at a time, when many others could not or did not. The elderly have a way of being passed over. You were there to brighten his day.
