I am reading a copy of a page in Texas Almanac 1964-65. Pecan Gap & Jonesboro on the Red River are mentioned in the same sentence stating they were "other settlements and ferry points". I think is was Carrie that told of a sing at Pecan Gap state a date of the early 1800s. I don't remember the year. Jim Giddens Paris, Tx
Now I am wondering if show have read as "Pecan Point" on the Red River. This copy I am reading, I think was typed by my dad.
