Good to hear from you, Andrea. I use my Mantis in a sandy loam yard, and really like it. My step-daughter borrowed it for her black land yard, never believing it would handle it. Was she ever surprised. I bought the electric model because of not having to mix gasoline, ect. but they are both great I think. Enjoy, and tell us what you grow.
