I have to smile everytime I see a photo of the Alamo. Being a big city girl, raised in Phila., but now living in New Orleans, had a chance to visit the Alamo several years ago. I thought we had to go way out in the badlands to see it. :) I could hardly believe it was smack dab in the city of San Antonio with a two story Burger King across the street. I still can't think I was that naive. Guess I watch to many movies. Also, my daughter-in-law's great-great something uncle died at the Alamo. I thought that was interesting. I am going to put this photo in with the page he is mentioned.
