Jim---guess this makes us cousins also: Tom is my first cousin. Our dads were brothers. This is really a rough time for me right now; my youngest son, James (age 32) was killed in an auto accident Saturday morning. I think I'm still a little numb, but feel like it's also important for me to try to return all the normalcy to my life that I can. And the genealogical research is one of my ways of dealing with stress. Thank you so much for the information you included; you just added several generations to my family tree. Hope to hear from you again soon. Jan, I heart goes out to you. I too lost my son at the age of 29 in 1994 and I still miss him. This is a loss that stays with you for a long time, but I try to think of all the good times we had with each other. I know that your son is now an angel in heaven along with mine. Joyce in Denton
Joyce, thank you so much for your wonderful e-mail. I am so sorry for your loss also. And like you, I want to remember all the good things and times with James. It seems that for the last few days that every where I have been all people want to talk about is the accident and how it happened. I finally told someone that I simply could not handle that any more---it was fine to talk about our memories of James, but please let's talk about the happy times we had with him and his deep love for his children, but not about the accident that took him from us. Sorry, guess I just had to "vent" to someone. Thank you again for your support.
