It was recommended to me that I use this list to seek help with research on the Broomfield/Brumfield family of Red River Co. and Cooper family. I'm hoping to find death & burial information for: William Berry/Barry Broomfield/Brumfield b. TN or KY 1822 d. after 1880 Caroline Broomfield b. 1830 d. between 1870 & 1880 Found them on census of 1870--Wm. Broomfield, age 49, farmer, Clarksville, Red River Co., pg. 90; with him Caroline, 40, Donley, 18, Emeline, 14, Sallie, 12 (my ancestor-married Fielden Green Cooper), Lula, 7, and Lenora, 5. On 1880 census, Red River Co., Precinct 8, p. 325B: Wm. Broomfield, 58, widower, Lucinda, 18, Lennora, 13. Next household has Erazmus, 28, farmer, wife Sarah, 28, William H., 3 and Mary C. 8 mos. b. Oct. F. G. & Sarah are in Precinct 7 on the 1880 census and later moved to Ft. Worth, where they are buried. I look forward to information and contacts in Red River Co. I live in Tallahassee FL.
