Paris News (Friday) Alpha Patterson Lewis, 101, of Detroit died April 6 2003. Born in Post Oak 1902 to John & Stella Johns Patterson. She married Paul D Lewis in 1917 in Post Oak. He died in 1984. She is survived by 4 children and their spouses, all of Detroit. I know nothing of this lady, but her age got my attention and respect. Post Oak is in northeast Lamar County.
