    2. What a sad situation...I wish it was less common, but I have heard way to many stories like this to think differently. My family actually has one like that on private property. While I understand that people can do what they want with their land it is sad to me that people have such disrepect for those before them. Of course, there are many stories of people saving these old cemeteries and restoring them. We also have a family cemetery on someone's ranch that they put up a fence and are in the process of replacing the broken or nonreadable markers at their cost. The family was going to do this and the owners said nope we will take care of it. I will have to say that I am very disappointed to hear of a pastor doing this though. Doesn't send much of a Christian message does it.
