Here is the e-mail about the old blue house I sent over 6 months ago. I will also send my follow up message. We have talked about it before. St John is in the process of restoring the house. He says he will put 4 office spaces on the first floor and bed & breakfast rooms on the second floor. The house was built in 1880 for Dr E.S. Look by Otto Glosnup to quote the paper. There were two tombstone found in an upstairs room. They are inscribed : Agnes P Henderson June 7, 1826-July 1, 1890 and John R Johnson Jan 10, 1843-Dec 6, 1889. If any one knows who these people are or where the tombstones really belong or how they came to be in the house, please contact the Times office at 427-5616. I have certainly glad to see this house being restored. The past owners of the house are: Look, Rigsby, Leila & Seth King, Byron Black Jr, Riddel, and now St John. This is the house with the extensive frill-work and decorative brackets under the eaves suggesting a Swiss Chalet. I stuck my camera into one of the broken small windows a few months ago and blindly snapped two pictures. The pictures came out fine, but just plain walls, nothing exciting. Jim Giddens Paris, Tx
