First Tract: a part of the John Bartley Survey and bounded as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at the S.E. corner or a 26 acres tract of land sold by S. English to E. Igo; THENCE N. with Igo's E. B. line to Pecan Bayou a stake from which a Hickory 8 ins. in dia. brs S. 48 W. 28 lkis; mkd X, a dogwood 3 ins. in dia. brs. N. 55 E 28 links mkd x; THENCE down the Bayou in a easterly direction 254 links to a stake; THENCE South to a point 254 links East of the place of beginning, a stake from which a Black Jack ( 2 ins. in dia.) brs. N. 36 E. 4 links; THENCE West 254 links to the place of beginning, containing 26 acres, less four acres sold to M. W. Hamilton by Pat. B. Clark and wife by deed dated Jan 7th 1893 and recorded in book 25 page 233 Deed Records of Red river County, Texas. Also a part of the John Bartley H.R. survey patented to B. M. Ballard, as assignee, described as follow: BEGINNING at the most Eastern N.E. corner of the Robert Hamilton H.R. survey a stake from which a R.O. mkd X brs as a witness tree and being the inner S.W. corner of the Bartley; THENCE West passing said Durham's S.W. corner and on West J. C. Durrum; THENCE West passing said Durham's S.W. corner and on West to a stake in the East boundary of Robert Hamilton survey. THENCE with said Hamilton's E.B. line S.15 to said Hamilton's inner N.E. corner THENCE East with said Hamilton's N. B, line 350 varas to the beginning, containing 57 acres, more or less. The above by Robert Swann and 17 acres includes 40 acres deeded to B.G.
