OK gang it's been a while since I've written anything, but I have been monitoring the conversation regularly. I occasionally visit thrift stores in the area in search of old books or records that may interest me. On Saturday, I ran across a country & western album by a Johnny Mauldin. The jacket explains about his Texas roots and how the songs depict a little about the way of life while he was growing up on Texas farmlands. I could not find a date on the album, but it was produced by a company in Arlington, Texas and the jacket was designed by a company in Fort Worth, Texas. The album was signed to Beverly from Johnny. My question is this, does anyone know if this Johnny Mauldin is related to any of the Red River County Mauldins? If so, how? Mike Gibson Mesquite, Texas
