Hi Charmaine, My husband is a descendant of David and Nancy Davis Morris. David, born abt. 1802 in Maryland and Nancy born abt. 1822 in Indiana. Does this names come into your Morris line? Would like to know what Morris line you descend from? Also on the Collier line, my father in law, John James Bruce's one of his wives was Cordia Bell Collier. Does this name sound familiar?? Thanks in advance!! The COLLIER and TITTLE families were from TN, although the TITTLEs went by way of AL and MS. They would have migrated in the very early 1850s. The THOMAS family married into my MORRIS and I believe they were from AL.Is there anyone else working on these families?Charmaineps. thanks for the interesting help re research in the county. I am planning a trip sometime this summer if I can decide whether I want to drive from Atlanta or fly into Little Rock or Dallas.
