    3. The Red River Genealogy Society Web site has a short guide to research--library hours, location, etc. http://www.rootsweb.com/~txrrcgs There is also a list of newspapers known to exist. Some of these listed as "being microfilmed" now may be completed and in the library. The Genealogy Society has worked very hard to obtain all the existing papers and get them microfilmed, but many no longer exist. The Microfilm Reader in the library does not have the ability to make copies, but hopefully someday that will change. The Red River GenWeb site has a list of ALL KNOWN cemeteries in the county and their locations, thanks to Lawrence and Sue Dale. Maps are available at Becky Hale's shop and the Chamber of Commerce.
