I was in Clarksville almost all day yesterday and was at the Friends of RR County Cemeteries last night. More on that later. My 15 year old grandson is visiting for a few days. Yesterday we went fishing and somehow managed to visit 4 cemeteries. He is Wesley, named for may dad. Wesley helped me put more dirt on my dad grave because it had settled. That was at Stones Chapel. He visited Dean Cemetery first for me to show him the grave of his great great great grandmother Mattie Parks Townes. When also strolled through Old Shiloh which was near where we were fishing. Old Shiloh sure looked better Being that close we also hit Concord Cemetery also and hope to soon walk the nearby woods in search for any possible remains of house of my GG GF and others that were in the area that my dad remembered.
