    3. Bob, I have never actually left the FM hwy, but have had it pointed out as being down this particular dirt road about 1/4 mile and in the pasture as you said. Next time I am driving close to the area, I will have a look. Maybe Sam or someone has a more exact pin point to the spot and maybe info about the marker. There is a historical marker on the house as you probably know. Was this Mrs Moore living in the old Garner House? If not, who is. I have taken pictures of the house and there seemed to be people living there but I did not see any. Thanks for you input. 3. Jim, I know exactly where the marker is, but have not seen it in quite awhile. I'm not even sure who owns the land where it is now. Also, I was just thinking that as you drove on Highway 194, you were very close to the old Jefferson Stage line. I remember walking to school on this road in 1941, and beside the road, just inside the Lamar County line was an old building that was once a stage office building. Of course, it was already in a very run down condition at this time, but you could still see the old building and some of the pens they fed and kept the horses in. I'm not sure how much of it I could still trace, but I can trace it almost to Clarksville. As for the Garner house, I remember Mrs. Moore's mother, Mrs. Maude Blair, living there with the Moore's, but I don't think anyone else has lived in the house. At least, for the last 71 years. 3. Sam, I did not mention it earlier because it is in Lamar Co, but about a year ago I was driving this same Hwy 194 but in the neighborhood of where you say the stagecoach building was, off to the north I spotted a small cemetery about 100 yards. I climbed the fence and took some pictures of several grave markers. One was about 12 ft tall. I forget the names on them. Probably about 8 to 12 graves with a cast iron fence around it that had recently be cleared and pushed off to the side. There was barbed wire around the cemetery but I could step over it on one side. I thought it was interesting but know nothing about it. I wonder if the stagecoach office could be related some how. Of course the Knights of Honor Cemetery is on up the road next to Blossom.
