Just got back from about a 2 hour visit with Sam. It is nice talking eye ball to eye ball and talking about the days of yesteryear. I did not know Sam when I was younger, but both us have known a lot of the same people over the years. My wife remembers him from the Fulbright years. I certainly do remember the Embrey name during the 50s and stopped a few times at his dad gas station on 37 near the Fulbright turn off, maybe I even bought gas from Sam. Is that possible Sam. (funny I did not think of this question when I was in your home this morning) We talked more about the location of Kerbow. Sam mentioned another road that use to go to Kerbow, that must be the road that we took to get there in the 50s. Seems to get there today I had better go by the directions Sam gave me by way of CR 1245 that runs from Fulbright to Batesville. Jim Giddens Paris, Tx
