This is TOO funny. My granddad always told me that "Raw Head and Bloody Bones" lived in the attic of the old farm house in Honey Grove. Now that brings about a mental image for a little kid's vivid imagination!!! hahahaha That was just to keep us out of the attic. When we cleaned the house out so my granddad could move to town in the late 60's I was in my late teens and had to check myself to keep from looking into the dark corners of the attic.............I truly expected to see the glowing red eyes of "Raw Head and Bloody Bones". We played outside and near dark we would climb up in the back of Daddy's Ford pickup, and say"the witches are coming toooonight, and I can still remember how we would hop down out of the back of the truck and run inside, and we were all shaky and trembling. The "we", was my sister, Kathy about 8 or 9, my little brother Mike about 5 or 6, and me. We could hear the coyotes howling, too. They spooked us a little, but not much. They were all around, but pretty far away. Well, I best go for this time. I was bumped off the list for awhile, and I really missed everyones talk, especially the rambling.
