in searching McNairy county TN genealogy site, I found two Brantley families listed on the 1850 census. I believe that Wiley Brantley is my GGrandmother's father though I cannot find any proof. Lucinda's oldest son, my grandfather, was named William Wiley. That is really about my only clue
Mr. Smith, let me add a little question on your note about someone I would like information on. Someone said they worked at the Hub there in Clarksville in the past. I am wondering about a Mr. Sherman that had some connection with the store. Could that person or anyone else fill me in on this gentleman. Anything would be appreciated, and thank you Mr. Smith for letting me hitch onto your post.
