When people left the store without buying something, Mr. Friedman would jump on the nearest saleslady or man and asked why...didn't they show them such and such. He just wouldn't let anyone say no. They were supposed to meet anyone who came in and suggest something to them that maybe they'd buy. Marilyn

That had to be the guy I remember. When we carried the mail in a store, we were to stop at the first counter or some place like that to put their mail. Two or three of the guys you mentioned in your other post would meet us, and while they were getting their mail, we would have a little " bull " session, but not when this guy was there, everyone would be so busy, they didn't have time to fool with the mail man. This man favored the Silbeberg?? brothers, and the recent talk about them made me think of this guy. I sometimes think of this when I go to the Fish Fry here in Paris. If Doc Ensey is there, you do not have to see him to know he is there. He runs a "pretty tight ship". Thanks again for the memories.
