I have just recieved a dead certificate for Jennie BAllard, wife of Roy Ballard. She died on pneumonia on Feb .22, 1937. The certificate indicates that T.E. Sanders & Son handled the burial. She was buried kin Maddri (?) or Waddri (?) I can not make out the word. Is the funeral home still in business? Are the records any where? I can not find any cemetery that is close to this spelling. Does the name of the cemetery ring any bells? Geri

Maybe this is it: I was searching the RRR for the old Victorian house and ran across a cemetery I have walked before. It is Marris Chapel Cemetery. One of the surnames listed is Weddle. The cemetery is pretty well kept, it is about 1/4 mile on off of the highway. Marris Chapel is southwest of Clarksville less than 2 miles on Hwy 37, actually Business 37 since the loop was put in. I saw Saturday that the extension of the loop to continue east and hit 82 on the east side of Clarksville can now been seen, but still a lot of work to do. Also they are working again on the Scatter Creek bridge and it is moving pretty fast now. The new one will be about 3 to 4 feet higher than the old one.
