I just wanted to say that I am very proud of Texas for being so unselfish and immediately taking these evacuees. All of my family were hit by Katrina, but luckily and with God's help, were not flooded out. Other states are now offering to take evacuees and that should ease the burden of Texas. I think it was very touching the way they stepped up. Jerri
