    3. Audie was indeed from Texas, but not from Greenville. I thought for a long time he was from Farmersville, Texas. However, I heard some lady on a Paris radio station say that he was born in a small community between Greenville and Farmersville. The exact name escapes me right now, but at least the Greenville-Farmersville area is close. I hope to one day visit the Korean Memorial.
