I wonder how many Red River county men and women are serving in Iraq right now? I only know of one but I'll bet there are several. Sharon
When I signed up for this email group last week, my question was about the genealogical society and its October seminar on genealogy. When I joined the society earlier this year, I understood then that the society had such a seminar on research in October. ???? Elaine, I forwarded your question about a seminar to the president of the genealogical society. As far as I know, the class we had last year for beginning genealogists is not going to be an annual thing. I don't think we'd have enough participants to cover expenses if we did it every year. Elaine, The Dallas Genealogy Society has lots of wonderful seminars. Also, the East Texas Gen. Society is having a seminar on Sat., Oct. 10 featuring Lloyd Bockstruck of the Dallas Public Library. We'd love to have you come. He's one of the most knowledgeable people in the country on genealogy research. Another thought. There is must talk about Freedom by different groups. Fact, if it were for the Soldier (all soldiers), none of us would have freedom of speech, protest, write etc etc etc. Jim G. p.s. this is not original thought, I hear it from another, and though, "How True" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Black" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 01, 2005 11:26 AM Subject: Re: [TXREDRIV] Old Soldier > I wonder how many Red River county men and women are serving in Iraq > right now?
