Wade White will be performing Thursday at 7 p.m. The C-Times this week had a insert (8 page magazine) about the RR Co Fair.. Wednesday starting at 7 p.m. will be square dancing with dancers from all over the country. (not just county). Raymond Whellington will be the square dance caller. I hope to visit with Ray. He use to call on me at the drug store in Avery when I was there in the 70s. He was a salesman for the Drug Wholesaler out of Texarkana. I have heard him call before. He is great. I remember him doing "The Yellow Rose of Texas" to square dance tune. It was unusual to me but showed how good he was (is). I have not seen him in about 20 years now. More on the Fair later.
