Thought is would be interesting to people connected to Red River Co It is about the 3rd e-mail update I have received through our Clarksville high school e-mail group. Shelia is Shelia Gamble graduate of CHS in 1960. Patsy was Patsy Petty and Lloyd is her brother Lloyd Petty. They all live in the area of the fires. Sheila calls now after being off e-mail due to serious health problems. Say a prayer for them please. Jim G Subject: Sheila Just got through talking to Sheila by phone. She is still at home and thinks right now that her home is out of any apparent danger. She said that the fires were about 3-4 miles from her house but thought that the fire fighters had the Irvine fire contained as of now. Her biggest problem has been the smoke. She is staying in the house with all windows and doors closed running the air conditioner. With her health problems she doesn't need to be breathing any of this junk in. She said that she went outside yesterday with some of her neighbors, and that they couldn't even see the sun for all the smoke and ash in the air. Brenda and Lloyd are in big trouble in their area though. They are packed and ready to leave but the highways in San Diego are jammed with traffic. Something like a half a million people have the freeways congested. If they are forced to leave they will go to friends at Riverside then will probably go on from there to Patsy and Roger's.
