    3. Jim, I guess I'm only a few miles north of Sheila here in Lakewood. And she's sure right about the smoke. It seems to be coming from just about every direction except the Pacific Ocean. It's been so heavy today, it looks like a fog....and dropping ash all over us. I can't complain though, there are an awful lot of folks out here in much worse shape but it's been a scary couple of days out here. We certainly appreciate your concern and prayers. They tell us that the winds will die down in the next 24 hours and the temps will drop into the 70's.....it sure cant be soon enough for any of us. I've been here in SoCal for well over 40 years and I've never seen anything on this scale or with this many people having to evacuate their homes. It's sad.
