    3. It'a apparent if Ione was in Red River county, it no longer exists. I have found Iona in Parker County, and Ioni in Anderson County. I don't think my grandfather went to those areas. He was a sharecropper, so he might have been just about anywhere. His first 2 were born in Caddo OK, the next two in Clarksville, the next 2 in Hot Springs AR and the last one in Idabel OK. I haven't been able to contact the person that posted that my uncle was born in Ione TX, so I'm going with Clarksville, which is what came from 2 sources. What could have happened in that he got confused with someone with a similar name. Gene
