    3. Cathy, When you read the first part of the message just delete the rest as most of us do already. Real easy. It was nearly impossible to make my way through it because so many people quote the entire thread that has gone before. I am on AOL so it is very easy to quote the bit that I am replying to. Other providers may not be so easy, but I beg you to find out how to quote just a bit of a message and not repeat the whole message. Sometimes the signoff lines appear 6 or 8 times in one message. Thank you so much. I love to read this board, but I am very busy so have to be able to skim through it quickly. 3. Many times we read a reply (if the earlier message has been cut off) and you do not know what the question was or even who the writer is. Sometimes a message on a list such as (example): "Thank you, who are your ancestors" and we have not idea who the message is intended for, unless the original message is still attached. However, if it is very long, I will normally cut off all except the last one. Also if you are still replying to the same subject line, I normally will not change it so everyone will know it is a continuation. Sometimes I will add a little to the subject line, such as "xxxxxx//rambling" or 'xxxxx/JimG" Just my thoughts, not a law, Jim G ----- Original Message ----- From: "Reecie" <rstanley@ndemand.com> To: <txredriv@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 18, 2007 9:26 AM Subject: Re: [TXREDRIV] Special Request > Cathy, > When you read the first part of the message just delete the rest as most > of us do already.
