Jim, the Trapp Brothers ran and owned the ferry at the end of Hwy. 37 for many years. It was on my grandmother's property, their mother. The brothers were Sidney and Dewey. My daddy was Sidney Trapp. Eddie Trapp is the grandson or great grandson of Tank Trapp of Cooper. He is a distant cousin of ours. I don't know who this guy (Jim) is but he seems to be interested in everything. Who knows what he does with the information. Apparently he is not super knowledgeable (is that a word?)but he seems to have a lot of time on his hands and apparently is lucky to find people who can give him the information. It started raining while Donna and I were about half way through our walk this morning and has "drizzled" all day - just cold and wet.
