I have been to Rosalie, a community east of Bogata a few short miles. Not aware of Ione. The mention of "could that be Annona" is interesting. I have read that Annona was named for the daughter of a Indian Chief. I wonder it her name was actually Ione. UMMMM. Maybe not. The first name that popped into my name was Irion County, on the west side of Tom Green County (San Angelo), but that would be a stretch.
