    3. Texas Mounted Rifles, who went to Arizona Territory? Sounds a bit familiar. I read up a lot on that subject. The re-enactment is done every March at Picacho Peak, northwest of Tucson. --MaryK> From: NANAREB@aol.com> Date: Thu, 1 Nov 2007 16:50:35 -0400> To: TXREDRIV@rootsweb.com> Subject: [TXREDRIV] Captain C.B. 2. There was a Captain John Schuyler SUTTON, for whom Sutton County was named after. He was a captain in the Republic of Texas army, a Texas Ranger, and during the Civil War was lieutenant colonel of Col. William Steele's Seventh Texas Cavalry of Henry H. Sibley's brigade.
